We know what signature is behind Spencer’s poster (and the most shocking dress of the season)

Just a few days ago, the poster for the movie Spencer , the highly anticipated new film about Diana of Wales directed by Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín and starring Kristen Stewart, went viral on networks (due to its spectacular nature) . Today the news is different. we know who is hiding behind this spectacular white dress.

  • Looks. Lady Kitty Spencer’s (scandal) suitcase in Venice
  • Looks. Lady Di’s dresses that are pure inspiration for this fall

It is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated films of the year, both in terms of theme ( Lady Di’s life continues to have a pull) and visual content. And we are sure that the looks of Kristen Stewart embodying the Princess of Wales will not leave us indifferent. And the proof came to us with the movie poster itself.

And it was precisely today, August 31 and the 24th anniversary of her death, when the firm behind this spectacular dress wanted to reveal her secret. And it could not be another way. The actress who plays Diana wears a Chanel design, specifically look 82 from the Haute Couture collection of spring summer 1988.

It is an organza design with flowers and hand-embroidered inlays in gold and silver, with a satin belt and a tulle and organza skirt with volume. Of course, all the embroidery is done by the Lesage house (something common in the house’s Haute Couture designs)

The design, although belonging to the collection from the year 88, was made again in Chanel’s workshops for the film, requiring a total of 1034 hours of work carried out by the seamstresses of the Haute Couture house. Of these, 700 were to carry out all the embroidery of the design.

The film, as we say one of the most anticipated of the year, will premiere on September 3 at the Venice Film Festival. The countdown has begun
