OUT OF NEGATIVITY!
How can you not find the positive side of things? Do you lock yourself in problems and see no solution? Do you see everything black? Have you gone from being the “joy of the garden” to looking like a “walking sieso”? Don’t worry, physical exercise can help you. We tell you why.
The 2006 best-selling book ” The Secret ” based on how positivity can change things and make you happy, has made many people go about their day with energy and “good vibes.” And it is on happiness and positivity that we are going to base this article, since exercise has the ability to give your life a 180º turn.
Exercise is capable of bringing you happiness , and that immediate happiness makes your thoughts positive, your thinking is channeled. It is not an invention that when you move, when you go to the gym, when you go to FAST, then you have a lot more energy to face any challenge that comes your way.
The moment you feel bad, with stress, everything turns dark, you are not able to think positive. In the face of stress, the hypothalamus activates the natural alarm system by increasing the production of cortisol and adrenaline. Cortisol is a hormone that is related to mood, motivation, and fear. Its levels alter the response of the immune system and suppress the digestive system. Also, excess cortisol affects memory in the hippocampus. On the other hand, adrenaline increases heart rate and blood pressure. This can be the cause of heart disease, sleep disorders, digestive problems, obesity, depression, increased dermatological problems, memory impairment, etc.
To change from less to more, from negative to positive, it is best that you start moving, because what will happen in your body will transform your mind: when your heart begins to beat stronger, in your brain reactions begin that make you feel better physically and mentally. Do you know BDNF, GABA, endocannabinoids, endorphins, serotonin, dopamine or norepinephrine? Surely you have ever heard at least one of these neurotransmitters or neuromodulators that participate in making you happy from the moment you you start your practice of physical exercise. It has been said that endorphins are the hormones of happiness, but as you can read, many more participate in this process of feeling good, of facing life in a more optimistic way.
