For the premiere of Spencer , Stewart, ambassador of Chanel , wore a set of collection Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2021/22 from the maison , as well as jewelry and makeup also in the house. Because Chanel has worked closely with the costumes for the film: on some occasions wears clothes that have been borrowed by the maison and others, they have been prepared for the shoot. Among all of them, the spectacular beige organza evening dress stands out, the star of the film’s poster, which has been made by five seamstresses who worked 1,034 hours, including 700 hours of embroidery.
The film, directed by Pablo Larraín, relives a weekend Diana spent with the British royal family in December 1991 at Sandringham House, Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite vacation property . It seems that on that occasion he decided to separate from Prince Charles and the Windsors . It is, logically, an interpretation of the director about what could have happened. The film has garnered rave reviews. The British newspaper The Guardian assures that “it takes Diana by roads that we have not seen travel”. Diana of Wales’ nieces, twins Amelia and ElizaDaughters of the princess’s brother were seen by the Bienale but it seems that they were not at the premiere of the film about their aunt.
A few months ago Kristen commented in an interview that Diana’s life “is one of the saddest stories that has ever existed, and I don’t just want to play it but I want to know her implicitly. I haven’t been so excited about playing a role in a long time.” . Following the premiere, Stewart made a donation to two of the charities working to honor the causes Diana fought for : the National AIDS Trust and Mines Advisory Group .
