Last weekend Xavier Jové was proclaimed world champion of XTerra in Hawaii in his age category (20-24 years old) and next to the Pro Elite. After a great race in which he coincided with almost 700 athletes at the start, which made the swimming sector very difficult for him. He started 12th in his category after the first transition 8 minutes after the first, but thanks to a good diet and hydration, he charged his batteries to make a great bike sector (32km of mountain with a positive difference in altitude of 900 meters on a terrain very technical) and reached the second transition first. To finish the XTerra, a 10-kilometer race through the spectacular mountains of Hawaii with a drop of 300 meters to reach the finish line in first place in its category.

Less than 6 months ago Xavier Jové came to Alimmenta through his coach Roger Roca. After a first anthropometric analysis and studying their lifestyle and training habits, we started a nutritional plan with the aim of arriving in the best possible shape at this World Championship. We are very happy with its result and with the work carried out during these months. The next season will be full of hits!
