Shantam Dheeraj, the founder

The system known as Tibetan Pulsing Yoga was born quite
recently from the visionary research of Shantam Dheeraj , aka James Rudolph Murley , who in the second half of the last century put together various innovative techniques that integrated yoga , massage, natural therapies, body work, sound therapy. , chromotherapy , meditation, theatrical work, dance, iris reading, and other methods of different origins: Indian, Tibetan or American, and as recent as they are ancient.

What Yoga Tibetan Pulsing means

In the very name of the system devised by Shantam Dheeraj, which disappeared about
twenty years ago, we find three key terms . The first is ” Yoga ” around which everything revolves. The second is ” Tibetan “, testifying to the influences of meditation techniques linked to Tibetan Buddhism . The third is “ Pulsing ”, referring to the heartbeat, which plays a fundamental role in Therapeutic Touch as a reference for the treatment of organs and energies.

The heartbeat

The part relating to the massage , one of the pillars of Tibetan Pulsing Yoga, treats the points of the physical and energy body  along the meridians not only as pressure points, but as points of transmission of the heartbeat expressed by the masseur’s fingers. in the physical-energetic structure of the patient, with a clear transformative purpose.

Great emphasis is also placed on meditation and the development of a subtle and energetic vision , which allows a vision of the flows of kundalini within the patient’s body.

The use of vibratory sounds and colors also pursues the same purpose,
because just like the heartbeat, they express a vibration that acts on the meridian points and, perhaps more importantly, on the internal organs of the physical body.

Tibetan Pulsing Yoga and mucus removal

Another practice – advanced – of Tibetan Pulsing Yoga, concerns the massage and pressure inside the oral cavity and throat , with precise sterile instruments similar to prosthesis of the index finger, through which it is possible to stimulate the expulsion of the excess mucus that is created around the internal organs causing ideal conditions for the development of specific pathologies.

Reading the iris

But it all begins with reading the iris , the preferred method of diagnosis in Tibetan Pulsing Yoga. Through this technique it is possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the individual in the colors, patterns and spots of the iris, sensing the traumas. Trauma work is in fact another pillar of Tibetan Pulsing Yoga.

For this iris reading technique, unrelated to common iridology , practitioners of Tibetan Pusling Yoga use high-resolution photographs.

Tibetan Pulsing, Yoga and Buddha

The type of yoga and yogic philosophy of reference in Tibetan Pulsing Yoga is linked to Tantric Buddhism and to the figure of the Buddha who, born in India, spread his knowledge also in Nepal and Tibet. Meditation and yoga are one here, in a version redesigned by Shanta Dheeraj to be easily understood by the Western mentality.
