Follow a Zumba video to keep fit
Have you ever tried following a zumba video to keep fit?
If you don’t want to spend your time in the gym, taking a video course is not bad at all to try some exercise at home anyway.
Let’s start from the beginning: who among you knows what Zumba is and how many benefits it gives to our body?
What is zumba?
Zumba was born in Colombia a few years ago and has since become one of the most loved and engaging fitness disciplines for many.
Legend has it that its creator, the Colombian Beto Perez , had forgotten the playlist with which he used to involve his customers with aerobics and had only the list of his favorite songs, the ones he heard every day. So rumba, merengue, salsa, reggaeton.
Thanks to this forgetfulness, Perez decides to do the same lesson and therefore to combine a simple aerobics lesson with those that are typical movements of Afro-Caribbean dances.
From that first moment of disorientation Perez invented this mixed choreography which was immediately a resounding success. Precisely for this reason it is easy to imagine how much the success of zumba has spread, in a patchy way, in the world that today boasts millions and millions of followers.
Obviously, then, the training framework has been completed over time, becoming a real program that promises and maintains a thousand calories burned in an hour. Which is really a lot.
Just as it is true that the Caribbean rhythms are perfect for a varied workout in which there are slow rhythms and then fast accelerations that allow our body not to get used to the exercise that is being done, which with the changes of steps is always also different for our metabolism.
Like any aerobic activity, zumba is perfect for toning up, is great for circulation and is good for the heart.
Recommended for all ages, unless you have joint problems.
If you’ve never seen a Zumba class before, I hope a video will make you want to take the class wherever you are to take the class. But if you have already seen a lesson you will have realized that there are different levels of zumba and that it is also practiced by women of a certain age, in a more elementary way.
So I always say yes to zumba, it’s fun, it’s joyful, it’s engaging.
And if you like that atmosphere, there will be nothing better than following a Zumba video to stay fit.
Have you made up your mind to lose a few pounds to feel lighter?
Then this is exactly what it does for us, even if we don’t really want to leave the house to do some movement and feel better about ourselves. This is the year to start thinking about doing something for our body and our mind, don’t you think?
