The carrot diet is a purifying regimen created by the therapist Thayer White that can be done in two phases:
a detox and restrictive phase of one week that allows you to lose two or three kilos quickly, and an anti-hunger diet phase that we can follow up to to the loss of excess pounds. Let’s see them both.
THE CARROT DIET: DETOX PHASE
This flash plan of the carrot diet should only be followed for a week. It is very simple and customizable, it reduces water retention, has an antioxidant effect, improves the bacterial flora.
Breakfast: 200 ml of organic carrot juice or carrot juice. A cup of unsweetened green tea. An egg and egg white omelette + a rice cake or 150 grams of white Greek skimmed yogurt with a level teaspoon of honey and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
Lunch: 200ml of organic carrot juice or carrot juice. 125 grams of white meat including chicken, turkey, rabbit or 100 grams of tofu with 250 grams of raw or cooked vegetables of your choice and a tablespoon of raw oil.
Dinner: 200 ml of organic carrot juice or carrot juice. 125 grams of fish such as hake, cod, plaice, with 250 grams of raw or cooked vegetables of your choice and a tablespoon of raw oil. As an alternative to fish, 150 grams of light cottage cheese.
Snacks allowed during the day : a large cucumber cut into pieces; a 5 gram cube of extra dark chocolate; 200 grams of fruit in all, divided into two snacks.
In addition to oil, herbs and spices to taste are possible.
In this first week, about 2-3 kilos are lost.
