Diet and Training Resolutions: Do They Work?
Diet and Training Resolutions: Do They Work? If you follow them, yes. Especially if you can follow them permanently. You know when September or January arrives and we want to change our life to make it healthier? Things like starting a diet, losing 10 pounds, quitting smoking, walking more, joining the gym, eating better nutrition?
We have made all these thoughts, we have often organized ourselves to be able to keep a series of promises we have made to ourselves: but, surprise, after a month the situation has often not changed. We tried it and for a week or two we were very motivated and felt better.
We cut calories, signed up to the gym, went on a diet, bought more fruit and vegetables, and went for a run as soon as we woke up . Why then do we abandon these good intentions?
The answer is: because they are stressful .
