This two-week low carb diet is my solution for those who have gone too far after the holidays, and need to tighten their calories for a while to normalize their weight and deflate quickly. It is a diet that I myself have adopted several times after the holidays. In this way, I was able to afford to eat freely and immediately returned to the line.
This year I chose Foodspring products to vary the usual meal plan. I have already reviewed them here , and I find that their protein foods are great for indulging in some whims while on a diet.

But I have put some options where you can be free to do a low carb diet similar to mine, after having heard the opinion of your doctor, even without buying specific products or using those of other brands.
I have adopted both solutions. This year with products and in the past with the alternatives that I explain below.

LOW CARB DIET OF TWO WEEKS AFTER THE HOLIDAYS: FEATURES

The low carb diet that I propose is about 1250 calories and is based on a customizable scheme to be carried out for one or two weeks, even in a vegetarian and vegan version. Overall carbs are around 50 grams net, so it’s a classic low carb, but not a zero carb diet.

If you continue this regimen for two weeks, for maintenance, start increasing the carbohydrates a little at a time, adding two portions of fruit a day (one portion for the first week of maintenance, two the second) and then 50 grams of pasta or rice ( raw weight) or grains (raw weight) starting from the third week after the fruit. In this way, after a month you can return to a normal diet without having regained the weight.

How much weight do you lose on the 2 week low carb diet?

The low carb diet allows us both to lose the excess fluids caused by too much sugar taken in a period of overeating and the weight caused by the excess calories.
For an adult woman who follows a diet of about 1800-2000 calories a day, this regimen allows you to lose 2 kilos in the first week and about a kilo the next, precisely because in the first days of a low carb the body gets rid of fluids. excess, so it has a strong draining effect. Weight loss is always subjective and could be greater.
