Homemade cereal bars: 2 very easy recipes

Today we see how to prepare sumptuous and perfect homemade cereal bars, with few ingredients and variations, which are also good for those who are impractical in the kitchen. All you need is a mixer.

I chose two from the recipe site of the famous health blogger Deliciously Ella , who teaches how to eat healthy in a delicious way, and has recently also opened a store of its products, including bars.

Here are the 2 homemade cereal bar recipes I have chosen for you. Ideal for breakfast or as a take-away substitute meal.

HOME MADE CEREAL BARS: 2 FAST AND EASY RECIPES

First recipe. Apple and raisin flavored oat bars.

Ingrediants.

  • 250 grams of raisins (can be replaced with prunes).
  • 135 grams of oat flakes.
  • Two tablespoons of dried apples.
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, or rice oil, or mild olive oil.
  • Two tablespoons of honey, malt, or rice / agave syrup.
  • a sprinkle of cinnamon and a pinch of salt.

Method.
Preheat the oven to 170 °, place a sheet of parchment paper on a rectangular baking tray.

Blend 3/4 of the raisins with the oil, honey and spices until the mixture is smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend everything briefly, for about twenty seconds.
Pour the mixture onto the parchment paper, giving a uniform rectangle appearance, and cook until golden brown, for about 20-25 minutes. Let it cool, put the pan in the fridge, wait 20 minutes, and then cut the mixture into 6 bars.
Calories per bar: 265.

Second recipe. Coconut and apricot flavored oat bars.

Ingrediants.

  • 250 grams of dried apricots.
  • 210 grams of oat flakes.
  • 45 grams of shredded coconut.
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, or rice oil, or mild olive oil.
  • Two tablespoons of honey, malt, or rice / agave syrup.
  • A pinch of salt.

Method. 
Preheat the oven to 170 °, place a sheet of parchment paper on a rectangular baking tray.

Blend 3/4 of the apricots with all the ingredients until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Add the rest of the apricots and blend everything briefly.
Follow the same procedure as for the first recipe.
Calories per bar: 308.
