New Information Leaks About AMD Zen Processors;  this time we talk about the new top of the range called Ryzen . Some slides have emerged online, retrieved from the  videocardz.com portal, which seem to be parts of the AMD Zen press kit and in particular of the top-of-the-range model, processor scheduled for release in Q1 2017. 

As you can see from the slide, Ryzen  will be  an octa-core with SMT and a total of 16 Threads ; with a frequency of 3.4 GHz and a boost of up to 3.6 GHz. It will be  equipped with 20 MB of cache (8x 512 KB L2 + 2x 8 MB L3), supports DDR4 memory and will have AM4 socket , coupled with new generation motherboards with AMD chipset X370.

The new CPU will allow us to use frequencies above or below the ordinary boost limits, dissipate in overclocking in different solutions (liquid or air for example); all this will be completely automated, in fact we users will not have to intervene in any way.

Ryzen will be able to anticipate the location of future access to data via application code; will use a sophisticated algorithm as a learning model and will learn the program’s data access patterns; it will preload vital data into local caches so that they are ready for immediate use.

It will be possible to check the temperatures, speed and voltage of the processor in real time; in addition there will be a real-time control to consume less energy, when possible, and a continuous control thanks to Infinity Fabric.

It will work in tandem with continuous CPU control to optimize performance; in use you can adjust the processor speed without stopping it. It looks like AMD is preparing to face Intel on a par, what do you think of all this leaked information?
