After the big release of the new Radeon Software Crimson ReLive drivers , it is now the turn for AMD , judging by the first rumors that have surfaced online, to present its next hardware as well . The Sunnyvale  company is in fact preparing to respond quickly to the increasingly probable presentation of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti at CES 2017 (probably set for this Wednesday) with a first preview on the new Vega architecture, which should therefore debut during the AMD conference at the same CES (in this case Thursday)
Although it is not clear whether this is simply a first vision on the new architecture or the announcement of real new GPU models, it is still certain that it will be the new evolutionary step for AMD graphics cards since, already with the first benchmarks, Vega managed to place itself very close to Nvidia’s GTX 1080, its direct competitor. Now follows the teaser trailer and some details:
Through the official website of AMD Vega, launched just in these days, it is possible to consult the image shown at the beginning of the article, it can already give some clues about the power of the new cards: we are talking about hardware with a high bandwidth cache and with cache controller , with significantly reduced consumption thanks to an energy efficiency quadrupled compared to the past , Draw Stream Binning Rasterizer and capacity / stack ratio eight times higher than previously seen . All that remains is to wait until January 5, 2017 !
