Unsuspected things that make you overeat

Today I read a very interesting article about those situations or those things (often they are also material things) that push you to overeat without you realizing it, because they continually stimulate your hunger. Some I think are enlightening to most of you , so I decided to write something on them and list them for you.

UNSUSPECTABLE THINGS THAT MAKE YOU EAT TOO MUCH
1) Cooking programs: they are now on all networks, at any time of day.
In this category, I also include recipes on youtube, all those programs where people overeat, or revolve around food. All of these things stimulate the sense of hunger. It is known from the Minnesota Starvation Experiment that those on a diet and calorie restriction are compulsively interested in food, and the same thing happens to those who are obsessed with their weight and have a problem with it. These programs should have a sort of cathartic function: I don’t eat but I would therefore like to watch the program where you eat and cook; I shouldn’t eat (but I eat) so I watch the program. The result is that we tend to eat more, nibble and cook more calorie-dense foods. ( CONTINUED ON PAGE TWO )
2) Have food on hand: the first rule if you want to start a healthy diet and lose weight is not to have junk on hand. Because if you have them in the fridge or in the pantry, you will consume them, even a piece every now and then, even without realizing it.

3) The yellow / orange foods: the yellow and orange colored foods are the ones that push us to eat more, something I didn’t know, but that seems plausible to think about it. Apparently, we tend towards foods of that color, because they remind us of oranges and other fruits rich in vitamin C, a vitamin that we must introduce daily to avoid any deficiency (unlike fat-soluble ones, for example). Except that among the yellow foods there are also chips, cheeses, sauces, baked goods. We start by worrying about how much vitamin C we are getting and taking a vitamin C supplement. This could reduce our craving for crap.
4) People eating in front of you: bad news for those who work in the restaurant business. If they always eat in front of your eyes, you will tend to eat more. But this also applies to family members. If someone is on a diet, healthy choices better fall on the rest of the family. And for friends. There is no point in going out on a diet with people who want to crack pizza on Saturdays. So watch out who you hang out with.
5) Plates that are too large: Large plates make food smaller. It is a fact. They make food seem less optically, and satiety is a mechanism that we know involves the brain. So small plates, which make lunch or dinner seem abundant.
