It’s called Spa Smoothie, and it’s an ideal cleansing smoothie during the change of seasons and whenever we feel dull, bloated and fatigued. This special smoothie in fact combines a series of ingredients that help us detoxify the body if taken in the morning or at least as a lunch replacement meal.
The Spa Smoothie, whose recipe is from nutritionist Kelly LeVeque , famous for having actresses like Jessica Alba among her clients, can be perfect for a 5-day detox diet called Fab Four, the plan of which we will see on page two. First, her recipe for the cleansing smoothie.
SPA SMOOTHIE: THE PURIFYING SMOOTHIE
- 30 grams of vegan vanilla protein powder (read here for organic brand ideas)
- 2 teaspoons of chia seeds (10 grams)
- the juice of half a lemon
- a small cucumber
- a handful of spinach
- 50 grams of avocado
- 200 ml of Alpro coconut or light almond milk.
Procedure: Blend all the ingredients in a blender and drink it immediately, with a handful of fresh mint leaves in addition or a sprinkle of cinnamon. For an extra energizing and antioxidant effect, add a teaspoon of matcha powder to the ingredients. Kcal: 340.
This purifying smoothie should be taken for at least 5 days a week , for a detox diet that will allow you to lose one kg in 7 days, leaving you free on Saturdays and Sundays.
