The 3-day Sugar Detox Diet: one and a half pounds away

The 3-day Sugar Detox Diet is an ideal diet to follow if you have overdone it with sweets, like after Carnival, Halloween or Easter. It is a plan designed to rebalance the bacterial flora, reduce swelling, eliminate the hunger for sweets.
Here’s how to do it.


Two tablespoons of aloe vera juice in a glass of water.
After day one, mix the aloe vera juice in half a glass of kefir water or kefir milk.

150 grams of white skimmed Greek yogurt or a large egg + an egg white cooked in a non-stick pan.
30 grams of avocado or 125 grams of currants or blueberries or grapefruit or kiwi.
Coffee or tea or herbal teas during the day should be taken with stevia but without other sweeteners or sugar or honey or malt.

Snacks (two per day).
70 grams of sliced ​​apple with a sprinkling of cinnamon + 20 grams of mature cheese or 8 almonds as an alternative to cheese.
Or: two cucumbers + two slices of bresaola. Or again: 200 ml of sugar-free soy, coconut or almond milk + a mandarin orange.

A portion of pureed minestrone without legumes or potatoes or mixed salad with rocket, valerian and songino + lemon juice. A level teaspoon of oil.
Alternatively 150 grams of cauliflower or spinach or radicchio sautéed in a pan with a teaspoon of oil and one of grated parmesan. 100 grams of sliced ​​turkey breast or 70 grams of bresaola or 60 grams of vegan sliced ​​or a large box of natural tuna (112 grams). A coffee or tea without sugar + a walnut or 3 almonds.


125 grams of cod or plaice or fresh tuna with a side dish of 200 grams of zucchini or mushrooms or asparagus tips stir-fried with a teaspoon of oil + aromatic herbs + a teaspoon of mixed seeds of your choice (sunflower, flax, pumpkin). As an alternative to fish: 150 grams of fresh spring peas, weighed raw or defrosted and boiled with a teaspoon of oil, salt, pepper, parsley.
At the end of the meal with 100 grams of kiwifruit or mandarins.
After the first day, you can start your meal with a serving of instant miso soup or take a teaspoon of yogurt. 

After dinner: a kiwi or two slices of pineapple in natural juice (drained).

After the sugar detox, I recommend that you continue with the Hazda fiber-based diet for 2-3 days.
