Slow metabolism: the anti-diet helps you

It’s called “ Consistent Eating ” and it’s a book I read this summer and I decided to tell you about it because it deals with the problem of metabolic efficiency, or slow metabolism. I know what you are wondering: but how, if one is metabolically efficient, does it mean that one has a slow metabolism? Yup.

Metabolic efficiency is just that.
It means that the body is efficient at conserving energy and storing it in body fat to cope with daily stress, instead of burning it.
Metabolic efficiency is therefore the body’s ability to reduce any energy expenditure , and is typical of overweight or obese people who have a slow metabolism.

But let’s get back to the book.

Consistent Eating is a book written by British researcher Billy Craig .
The author is known for having carried out an experiment on himself, years ago, in which for twelve months he ate eight meals a day, all the same in calories, for a total of 6,000 calories per day, and lost weight instead of gaining weight. .
