Razer , world leader in lifestyle gaming, through an official press release today announced the new 17-inch Razer Blade Pro. Entirely redesigned from the ground up, this notebook has been designed for enthusiasts and power users who want desktop performance without sacrificing handling and portability. With power never before seen in a laptop less than 22.5mm thick, the new Razer jewel can handle virtually any task, anywhere, anytime.Razer Blade Pro

The new Razer Blade Pro features the latest quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and next-generation NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 video card . It is the most powerful system ever created by Razer and the thinnest notebook on the market to feature a GTX 1080 . Among other features, mention should be made of the Thunderbolt 3 interface for advanced connectivity options, 32 GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory , up to 2 TB of M.2 PCI SSD in RAID 0 storage and an integrated SD card reader.

While other similarly equipped notebooks are more than 5cm thick and weigh over 4.5kg, the new Razer Blade Pro stays true to its traditional form factor. The CNC aluminum unibody chassis still measures 22.5mm thick and weighs less than 3.6kg. Additionally, the included AC adapter is designed to complement the general portability of the Razer Blade Pro.

In addition to state-of-the-art components, this notebook has a new thermal management system, which now features the world’s thinnest vapor chamber cooling solution. The vapor chamber reduces hot spots, dissipating heat quickly, efficiently and evenly. A fan and a dynamic heat exchanger are combined with the vapor chamber to optimize dissipation. This allows the Razer Blade Pro to be the most powerful computer ever built into such a thin chassis.

The other features of this desktop replacement also offer the same uncompromising approach. In fact, thanks to a stunning 17.3-inch 4K IGZO monitor with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology that produces the smoothest possible frame rates, this display guarantees 100% Adobe RGB color accuracy to deliver the ultimate visual experience. to gamers and professionals.

It should also be remembered that the Razer Blade Pro is the first notebook to use Ultra-Low-Profile mechanical switches . Each key has an actuation and release point and the pressure required to give an input to the notebook is 65 grams of force; this allows you to have the same feel that you might experience using full-sized mechanical keyboards. The keyboard and trackpad are also Razer Chroma enabled . This technology unleashes a practically infinite series of lighting effects that can be customized by the user or programmed to show certain events during the game.

The Blade Pro’s specifications meet the minimum hardware requirements of HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and OSVR HDK 2, making it one of the most handy VR-ready devices on the market. This convenience will allow enthusiasts and developers to be able to use Virtual Reality in complete freedom.

Speaking of the technical aspect of the new Razer Blade Pro, Min-Liang Tan , co-founder and CEO of Razer said:

The 17-inch Blade was the first laptop to truly combine power and handling in a PC. We’ve taken that approach to the next level with the new Razer Blade Pro. The thermal engineering that supports it is astounding. It’s incredible where we have come: once we were a team of a few people and had only one product, while today we have an entire catalog of gaming systems and we can count on a large group of engineers and designers who know how to get the most out of a PC. game.

Also congratulating on the work done by Razer is  Mark Aevermann , senior product lead for GeForce gaming laptops at NVIDIA , who said during an interview:

It’s amazing what Razer has been able to do with the new Razer Blade Pro. They’ve managed to design a gaming laptop with our flagship card, the GeForce GTX 1080, in a form factor that allows gamers to play anywhere.

The 17-inch Blade Pro joins the rest of Razer’s award- winning PC family . The 14-inch Razer Blade sets a benchmark for mobile gaming, while the 12.5-inch Razer Blade Stealth was chosen as the ” Best PC ” at this year’s CES due to its combination of performance, value, expandability and manageability.
