After several rumors and leaks, which probably saw the arrival of two new low-end Nvidia video cards , confirmation has finally arrived. The company has in fact announced the arrival of two brand new video cards on the market, Super variants of particular models already released on the market for several months. We are talking about the Geforce GTX 1650 Super and the Geforce GTX 1660 Super , which seem to want to be the best buy of the low-end video cards oriented above all to gaming.

The two new GPUs share the Turing architecture, patented for the RTX series cards. Obviously, as the GTX in their name suggests, the two new models do not present any support for ray tracing, and are designed for gaming in Full HD and in some rare cases in Quad HD. As rarely happens, the GTX 1650 Super and GTX 1660 Super will not have a reference model, the one that is usually called by the Founders Edition manufacturer, and will therefore be available only in their custom variants of the various manufacturers. Now let’s see more specifically the main features of the new products announced by Nvidia , also considering their price.

  • The Geforce GTX 1650 Super still does not have a defined price, despite its release date is already set for November 22 this year. The card configures to be 50% stronger than its base model, at least according to benchmarks published by Nvidia . As can be guessed, 4GB of Vram GDDR6 will be present, and it is conceivable a launch price that is around, or just under, $ 200.
  • The Geforce GTX 1660 Super is already available on the market, at the initial release price of $ 229 . This model is 20% faster than its smooth version and has a consumption of 5 watts higher, which leads to a total of 125 watts. The graphics card comes with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

Since Nvidia ‘s communication was not the best, we now list all 5 low-end GTX Turing card models in ascending order according to the power criterion, so that the situation can be clearer.
