In this article, we see eight strains that can help anyone who is low in carbohydrates in their diet.

For example, those who do low carb and even ketogenic , or who for health reasons must reduce carbohydrates even from fruit, which naturally contains them in the form of monosaccharides (fructose, glucose).

FRUIT WITH FEW CARBOHYDRATES: THE 8 ALTERNATIVES

  1. Blackberries:
    blackberries contain 9.6 grams of complex carbohydrates: excluding fiber, however, sugars are 4.8 grams per 100 grams of blackberries. Ok in low carb.
  2. Avocado: one of the few fruits that is also optimal in the ketogenic diet, and indeed, it should be favored. 100 grams contain 8.53, but the sugars are 0.6, the rest is fiber.
  3. Grapefruit: 100 grams contain 8 grams of carbohydrates, 7 of which are sugars. Ok in low carb and moderate carb diets like the Zone Diet.
  4. Lemon: Lemon contains 9.3 grams of carbohydrates, of which 2.5 sugars. The juice of half a lemon is also compatible with ketogenic diets in the morning.
  5.  Lime: Lime has less sugar than lemon, which makes it suitable for ketogenic diets and excellent in low carb. In fact, for 10.5 grams of carbohydrates it contains only 1.5 grams of sugar, the rest is fiber.
  6. Strawberries: have 7.7 grams of carbohydrates, of which 5 grams are low in sugar. Ok in low carb, orange light in ketogenic diets.
  7. Watermelon: per 100 grams it has 7.5 grams of carbohydrates, of which over 6 are sugars. Ok in low carb, absolute ban on ketogenic.
  8. Acerola: it is a type of cherry (Barbados cherry) rich in antioxidant pigments and high in vitamin C. It is also perfect in ketogenic diets, because it is particularly fibrous.
    In fact, carbohydrates are 7.6 per 100 grams, but almost all of fiber: the net ones, or sugars, are less than one gram.  But be careful not to buy the juice.
