In this article I will focus on minerals instead of vitamins and other micronutrients.

Minerals are essential to the body it means it may be take through diet. So we can say that minerals are essential. These essential minerals further classified into two types:
Trace minerals:
Minerals that required in small amount by body are calle trace minerals.
Most common example of trace minerals are: Chlorine, Cobalt, molybdenum, iodine, sulfur, manganese etc.
Major minerals:
Minerals that required in large quantity by body are called major minerals.
Most common examples of large minerals are given below, these minerals are necessary for body to perform specific function:

According to some researches it also acts as heparin and involved in blood clotting. Its most important function is oocyte activation. It also involve in heart beat regulation. Calcium is also most important for nerves system and nerve impulses. Deficiency of calcium may cause many diseases.

Chloride is also most important and common mineral in our body, it is use to maintain inside and outside concentration of cell fluid. It is use to maintain acid and base concentration. It is also use to maintain pH of body, it is also use to maintain blood pressure in body.
Phosphorus:
Phosphorus is also a major mineral, It is require in body to maintain bone growth and teeth formation. The most important function of phosphorus is synthesis protein. Its definition may cause many diseases.
Iron:
It is a trace element but it is most important in human body. Deficiency of iron is call “Anemia”. Iron is most important for body because it is involve in oxygen transformation. Iron is main constituent if Hemoglobin. And Hemoglobin is involve in the transformation of oxygen. Iron is also involve in the proper stiffness and growth of bones.

In the light of above discussion we can say that minerals are essential micronutrients for human body. These can be take by plants, animals and water. Now we can say that deficiency of minerals may cause many diseases. Some minerals are major and some are trace minerals, major minerals are require in large quantity by body while minor or trace minerals require is small quantity by body.
