According to some latest rumors, Nvidia ‘s future graphics card , more precisely the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti , will be much faster than the current top of the range which is represented by the RTX 2080 Ti. In particular, it seems that the next generation that will be built on an Ampere architecture and no longer on the Turing one (like the 2080) will even have 50% more speed with 4K resolution games than its “rival”.
This information comes from a YouTube channel called Moore’s Law is Dead , where some of the possible technical features that will be mounted have been illustrated. The alleged features see the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti mount a GA102 GPU formed by 5376 CUDA cores and a card boosts higher than 2.2GHz. The installed memory should be a GDDR6 of 18Gbps and have a bandwidth of 863GB / sec . Really important numbers that translate with a speed equal to about 50% more in games optimized for 4K and 40% more than in non-optimized ones (always comparing it with the RTX 2080 Ti). The new PCIe 4.0 standard should also arriveand a cooling system similar to the Founders Edition 20 Series RTX.
Final mention in regards to the ports and connectivity which appear to be divided into 3 Display Port, 1 HDMI 2.1 port and a USB-C port. The release of the new video card should take place around September, perhaps coinciding with the launch of Cyberpunk 2077.
