During the PC Gaming conference held yesterday on the stage in Los Angeles, AMD wanted to flex its muscles, presenting itself in all its power and illustrating to the public a series of innovations that specifically concern the hardware part. The products shown were varied and with different purposes, but all of them suggest that the house intends to return to the fore by facing rival Nvidia.

Going in order, the presentation given by  Lisa Su , CEO of AMD, introduced us to the first two new video cards RX 470 and RX 460, marked by HD graphics and in particular to the world of MOBAs. It has also been stated that the older sister of the previous two, the RX 480, will be released on June 29th.

But going further and leaving out the video cards, the presentation of the new Zen processor was important, which seems to really deserve a place in the top of the processors: it is no coincidence that a video was shown (found below) in the which DOOM was tested on a PC equipped with such a processor, and the response from the latter’s eight cores seems to have been truly excellent.

The latest news announced instead concerns the world of virtual reality; we had already seen some backpack VR from MSI, and now AMD returns to have its own version in collaboration with Alienware: it will use the aforementioned RX 480 video cards, which will be optimized above all to grant a unique gaming experience .
