Doctor Migliaccio’s “3-day diet” is a very simple , low-calorie regime (about 1000 calories) that allows us to quickly get rid of 1 or 2 kilos. Conceived by the late Dr. Migliaccio, promulgator of the Mediterranean diet, this diet is perfect if we have eaten too much.

Conceived as a diet to be done even every two or three months, in order to rebalance periods of excess, this diet has a 24-hour shock phase to give a boost to the metabolism and two days of low calorie.

THE 3-DAY DIET OF DOCTOR MIGLIACCIO Away
up to 2 kilos in 3 days

First day of the diet 3 days, shock phase.

  • Breakfast. 100 ml of milk partially skimmed and a medium fruit of your choice (max 150 gr), coffee or tea to taste
    (as an alternative to milk, 100 gr of Greek yogurt or plain white and skimmed yogurt can be fine).
  • Snack. A freshly squeezed orange juice or a fruit popsicle.
  • Lunch. A fruit salad (about 300 g, without sugar).
  • Snack. A freshly squeezed orange juice or a fruit popsicle.
  • Dinner. Sliced ​​mixed fruit (at will).

Second day of the 3-day low-calorie diet.

  • Breakfast. 100 ml of milk partially skim + a toast with a thin layer of jam, coffee or tea
  • Lunch. 150 gr fresh grilled fish with vegetables at will (green leaf) + 40 gr of wholemeal bread. Those who are away from home can eat a mixed salad with tuna or salmon or shrimp + bread.
  • Dinner. 80 gr of well-drained or normal tuna in oil + raw vegetables to taste in the quantity + wholemeal bread 80 gr.

Third day of the 3-day low-calorie diet: 
breakfast: see day two
lunch: see day two
Dinner: 130 gr of meat, a portion of cooked vegetables + a portion of raw vegetables, 40 gr wholemeal bread.
