Don’t probiotics work? I’ll explain why

Swollen stomach, problems digesting every food and feeling of heaviness? Raise your hand (metaphorically) how many of you have these problems and have tried to take probiotics to fix them, but to no avail.
In fact, probiotics can even be a double-edged sword for those suffering from intestinal swelling, irritable colon or digestive difficulties. In this article, I’ll explain why probiotics don’t work if you don’t know how to use them properly.

PROBIOTICS DON’T WORK? I WILL EXPLAIN WHY

  • What are probiotics.

Probiotics are strains of different culture families of live microorganisms that perform an important immune function and feed the good bacteria of the gut. They are particularly indicated in the case of antibiotic therapies, after colic or eating disorders, flu, but also to solve some enzymatic problems such as the difficulty in digesting lactose due to a low presence of the enzyme lactase. However, there are many varieties: and depending on the intestinal problem there is the suitable probiotic. Therefore not all probiotics are the same.

  • Quality counts.

  • It is therefore essential to talk to a good pharmacist or your doctor to determine which probiotics are right for us, but above all, it is essential that the product we take is of quality, and that it actually contains live and active cultures.
  • Watch out for intestinal pH and the state of dysbiosis.

However, if we have intestinal dysbiosis, that is an imbalance of the bacterial flora and also a mineral imbalance that is the cause of our intestinal problem, even before taking probiotics a preparatory phase is necessary to restore a correct intestinal pH.

So before taking probiotics it is better to take Basenpulver , with a deacidifying function.

If the intestinal disorder is associated with overweight and water retention , I recommend Erbasit instead .
Another excellent food in this rebalancing phase is bone broth , preferably cooked for no less than 6-7 hours, with aromatic herbs such as rosemary and bay leaf, well defatted and filtered, and salted with whole (or unsalted) sea salt. The bones must be from animals raised on pasture or from trusted farms. A cup for at least 3 days a week, preferably in the evening.

After a few weeks of treatment, combining these remedies with vitamins E, C and A for intestinal well-being, you can begin therapy with the probiotic. Starting with small doses (one tablespoon, maximum two, in the morning, on an empty stomach), you can try some Kefir (Bionova brand), and, if after a week we find some advantages, let us ask the pharmacist the best probiotic for the our case.
If, on the other hand, we notice worsening with kefir, it means that both lactobacilli and bifids that contain lactic acid are not optimal for our intestine. Therefore it is necessary to opt for non-lactic probiotics. For example Boulardii in case of candidiasis or Bacillus clausii in case of a tendency to dysbiosis.
By doing all these steps, probiotics work one hundred percent and are actually useful for solving intestinal problems, malabsorption, regularity.
