Doctor Oz show: lose 4 kg in one week
Imagine eating all you want and losing up to 4 kilos in a week: this is the new bet of Dr. Oz, who in his famous show, which will now also be aired in Italy for the third season, respectively on La7 at 7.45 am. in the morning and at 16.00 in the afternoon (needless to say that I who criticize him so much in the end will see him again in Italian!), he returns to talk about the topic that has caused him so much trouble: weight loss! And he does it by sponsoring a quick one week diet proposed by none other than Joel Furhman, the doctor of Eat to Live , of whom I spoke here . The one week diet consists, in line with the Furhman “Eat to live” method, in a diet based on nutrient-dense foods.According to these rules, to be applied for a whole week:
– the 90/10 rule: for a week eat at will fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds. Ninety percent of your diet has to be this. Ten percent meat or fish, cheese and vegetable oils.
Example: breakfast? freshly squeezed orange juice and oatmeal. Lunch? A plate of legumes with a drizzle of olive oil and a salad or a plate of vegetables. Fruit snacks, nuts, peanuts at will. Dinner with a pound of chicken breast, a cup of oats or other whole grains, mixed vegetables.
– the secret weapons: red fruits, onions, mushrooms are foods that you can binge on to accelerate weight loss. The same for legumes.
– the detox smoothie:every day a detox smoothie with pomegranate, lemon juice and strawberries with a deflating and anti-inflammatory effect.
