ASUS recently announced new updates regarding the UEFI BIOS that offer support for the new Intel Optane memory technology . These new updates allow you to install the memory application that activates the M.2 module. The combination of Intel Optane memory and a large hard drive allows you to speed up systems by minimizing startup times, reducing file loading times and making frequently performed tasks fast, smooth and simple. Once installed and configured, the UEFI BIOS permanently stores Intel Optane memory configuration details. This prevents users from having to re-enter settings when updating the BIOS, restoring defaults, or clearing the CMOS configuration.

ASUS  200 Series motherboards include the popular ASUS USB BIOS Flashback feature , which allows users to apply UEFI BIOS updates with ease. This innovative tool downloads the latest BIOS to a USB flash drive, allowing users to upgrade quickly and easily. The motherboard doesn’t even have to have a CPU or DRAM modules – users simply plug in the power and USB drive containing the UEFI BIOS, press the USB BIOS Flashback or ROG Connect key . What do you think of these new updates?
