Shuei Yoshida , vice president of Sony WorldWide Studios , was interviewed by Bloomgerg regarding the PlayStation VR issue, a peripheral that we remember will be launched on 13 October; Yoshida was literally enthusiastic about Sony’s virtual reality headset, calling it as innovative and revolutionary as the first Sony PlayStation . Let’s hear his words together: “To be honest, I don’t know what the demand will be. If we talk about the gap that it will represent, I think it will be the most remarkable since the days of PS1 , and perhaps even greater than that. While I work on PSVR, definitely back to twenty years ago, the sensations are really similar. Virtual reality is something completely different from the games that currently exist ”.
As you can well see from his words, the enthusiasm is skyrocketing, also accompanied by a dose of nostalgia that we believe will improve the quality of the vice president’s work, closer to the needs and requests of gamers more than ever. Yoshida also rattled off a few numbers during the long chat, declaring that the requests for PlayStation VR have exceeded the wildest expectations . The conditions for an excellent accompanying peripheral, as well as for a revolution in the world of videogames, are all there; we just have to wait for the release of PlayStation VR on the market.
