A few years ago Skyrim fascinated us with its breathtaking landscapes, making us dream of living in that immersive fantasy world. With the advent of the virtual reality edition, the immersion of the game has increased again but a device is coming that will take a further leap forward to in-game realism. Bogdan Zubchenko , perfumer and olfactologist, has created VR Feelreal , a new accessory for PlayStation VR, HTC Vibe, Oculus Go, Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR capable of reproducing the smells of objects in the game world. 

The headset perfume generator works thanks to a replaceable cartridge, which houses nine capsules containing aromas. From the Feelreal store it is possible to choose between 255 different perfumes, combining and changing them according to the game we want to have fun with. In addition to the “olfactory” function, the Zubchenko mask is able to simulate a blow of hot or cold air on the face and cheeks, and can transmit vibrations to the headset in use.

It is currently available in white, gray and black but can only be used on a limited number of titles. The video games supported by VR Feelreal are:
