Try all the diets of the stars to lose weight
I have read the case of the journalist and writer Rebecca Harrington in many places , but only today I decided to talk about it on my blog. Because? For two reasons: one, because Rebecca Harrington. it is not clear for what purpose apart from a morbid curiosity, he decided to try all the diets of the stars of which we know , from the stars of the past (the diet of Greta Garbo) to those of today (the diet of Cameron Diaz). Two: to show you how often changing your diet is one of the most dangerous and bad things you can do to your body, and one of the things that will least make you lose weight. And I can prove it to you thanks to Rebecca’s case.
Rebecca Harrington is a writer. Driven by her obsession with celebrities, she wrote a book about star diets from a particular point of view: hers. Having done as many diets as possible like many of us, she said to herself: why not follow a vip diet and see if it works? She acted as a guinea pig, often living a few days at the homes of Hollywood celebrities, interviewing them, following their examples: and she did it 14 times, even for the strangest diets.
On this experience she wrote a book called ” I’ll Have What she She she’s Having: My Adventures in Celebrity Dieting“, Something like“ I’ll take what she took. My adventures in celebrity diets ”(where the first part of the title probably refers to imitating our neighbor’s restaurant order). And what did Rebecca discover?
– Star diets are often wacky : Rebecca bought all the diet and recipe books written by celebrities, then she followed their advice to the letter. She has tried each diet for ten days. From Beyoncé’s diet of smoothies, to Liz Taylor’s peanut butter and steak diet, to the diet of raw eggs pureed in milk that Monroe is said to have made.
– Star diets are often starvation: these people keep themselves thin by eating very little. Victoria Beckham follows the Five Hand Diet, a diet in which she eats protein five times a day, the amount of which must fit in the palm of one hand, and plenty of vegetables. Nothing else. Same with Madonna’s macrobiotic diet. Her healthy diet but that left her hungry.
– The only diet promoted is that of Gwyneth Paltrow , healthy, without eggs or gluten because Paltrow is intolerant. The only problem is the cost. $ 140 a week.
– Did you lose weight after doing all these diets? No.She said she lost three pounds on Beyoncé’s Master Cleanse diet. followed by a few days of protein diet. Little for the master cleanse which is a diet where we say we fast.
