The trick to not overeating

eatingdoughnutAre there behavioral differences between those who are thin and those who are overweight? I see a huge one, and it’s obsession with food . It may seem obvious to you, but those who are thin eat according to a sense of hunger and do not constantly think about food. Even the person who “eats a lot but does not gain weight” in reality does not always think about food, while those who suffer from a few extra pounds are obsessed with it. What then does not gorge and try to control the speech does not change. The more you think about diets, measuring food, gluttony and embrace the philosophy of “I would like to but I can’t”, the more you will think as an overweight person and not as a thin person. It is no coincidence that the obsession with food is one of the symptoms of a slowed metabolism.
A study published in the  International Journal of Obesity and conducted by a group of psychologists from Ohio State Universityamong other things, he discovered that thin people not only do not always think about food, that is, they are not obsessed with it, but also see it less. On the other hand, food is always too present in the lives of overweight people: it is at hand and not only in the pantries or in their fridge. It is on the table, near the stove, even in the bedroom, in plain sight in the kitchen, even if it is closed in jars. This continuous view of food would stimulate more a sense of fake hunger, leading those who are already fighting with the extra pounds to linger longer. The second big difference that the experts have found is instead in the quality of the shopping: with the same calories, the fatter people consume higher quantities of industrial foods, i.e. biscuits, snacks, frozen foods, ready meals, light foods or substitutes, sweets to the spoon. Thinner people eat simpler foods nine times out of ten : if they are hungry they eat a raw fruit or carrot.
