The “no diet” to lose weight
Those who follow me on this blog know that I have written numerous articles around the concept of ” no diet ” and personally when I say that I have not been on a diet for years I mean just that: I have not followed a diet for years. It wouldn’t even cross my mind to open the newspaper, cut out the mandarin diet or the yogurt diet and do it for two weeks. I’ve done too many diets , which is why I know them all very well, and obviously I’m not the only one . I bet you know a lot about diets too. Think about this: if diets were the solution to our weight problems, each of us would just have a diet and that’s it. What does it matter, you will tell me, depends on the diet. Ok,and you don’t feel like a loser always and only getting into the wrong diets? Doesn’t it seem strange to you that you are still looking for a decisive diet? Do a little experiment and consider all the thin people you know well. Ask them if you can, but you will see that many of these people are not on any particular diet . If you go on a diet and then lose weight, it makes sense that for the next time you will be on maintenance according to your diet, right? Yet I don’t know anyone who is in Dukan maintenance, Paleo maintenance and so on.
People with overweight problems diet for a while. He gets results or if he doesn’t get them he abandons it. But even if he gets them he abandons it. Go back to eating as before. Get fat again. Look for another diet and so on.
– Eat a large plate of mixed vegetables for lunch and a large plate of mixed vegetables for dinner.
– Have a healthy breakfast , for example with: a slice of toasted wholemeal bread, a veil of organic butter and jam without sugar, yogurt or skimmed milk or vegetable milk with a spoonful of oat flakes, a teaspoon of honey and a spoon of wheat germ, citrus juice, tea or coffee lastly.
– Snack only fruit or vegetables such as raw cucumbers.
– Drink green tea or oolong tea to naturally increase metabolism.
– Drink tea and coffee without sugar , limit yourself to a teaspoon of honey a couple of times a day or a piece of dark chocolate to satisfy the desire for sweet.
–At lunch and dinner, have balanced meals , that is, in addition to vegetables, they contain a resource of whole carbohydrates, one of proteins (alternating between animals and vegetables), one of fats, preferably good fats.
– Eat as much natural food as possible, avoiding industrial products.
– Vary your diet by experimenting with new foods: the world is full of them. Spices, seeds, nuts, natural flavors, the many types of vegetables of our land, the many Italian or fresh and fermented cheeses, the many legumes with which you can make soups, but even desserts, the flour of legumes. Leaving the easy supermarket world, you can clean up and lose weight effortlessly by focusing on natural and quality.
– Do at least one hour of physical activity a day, even dividing it into half an hour, ten minutes every few hours, whatever you like.
– Stand or get up frequently.
This is the non-diet of a thin person, and if for a moment you let go of the anxiety of losing weight in three or seven days and stop to think, what it costs you to try to eat like this, that is healthy, for a month and see how it goes?
