The mini-fast diet: Dr. Oz’s new flash diet

It’s called the Mini Fast diet and it’s a lightning-fast diet for the summer or periods when we have exaggerated at the table and want to get back into shape very quickly. This lightning diet is in fact a 5-day mini fast and is called Mini Fast because for five days you eat few calories, prompting the body to burn the stored fat without lowering the metabolism.

However, it is important that the diet does not exceed 5 days and that in the remaining two of the week the diet is normal and there is no binge eating.

This way you lose up to 2 kilos quickly. Here is the scheme of the Mini-Fast Lightning Diet.

THE LAMPO MINI FAST DIET BY DOCTOR OZ

Breakfast. 1 cup of green tea with a squeeze of lemon but no sugar.

Snack 10-11 am: protein shake. 
Blend a scoop of chocolate protein powder or alternatively 150 g of skimmed cottage cheese or 170 g of 0% fat Greek yogurt with 100 g of red fruits of your choice, a few ice cubes and a handful of spinach. Sweeten with a zero calorie sweetener. Calories: about 150.

Mini lunch at 1pm.
120 gr maximum of lean proteins (chicken, turkey, cod, plaice, natural tuna, natural tofu, egg whites or shrimp tails) with two level teaspoons of oil and a small handful of salad, lemon juice .

Snack 4 pm: protein shake. Same recipe in the morning.

Mini dinner (to be done by 7 pm):
 maximum 120 grams of lean proteins as for lunch with the addition of 100 grams of boiled legumes and two level teaspoons of oil or with 40 grams of avocado.

Small dessert to eat by 7.30pm.
Avocado mousse with chocolate: blend 80 g of avocado with a tablespoon (20 g) of unsweetened cocoa, a pinch of whole salt, 100 ml of sugar-free almond milk or other vegetable milk (not soy), a teaspoon of oil coconut and sweetener to taste.
Put the mixture in the fridge, in a nice cup (to be done the night before).

Fast from 7.30 pm until 11 am the next morning, with the new shake.
