The hypotoxic diet or the Seignalet method for pain relief
The hypotoxic diet of Dr. Seignalet, returned to the fore and updated by Dr. Lagacè in her book ” The anti-pain diet”, is an experimental diet designed against autoimmune diseases and other forms of diseases that cause chronic pain. For example, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. Or for chronic diseases such as chronic bronchitis and asthma.
According to Dr. Lagacè, who has experimented with the hypotoxic diet on herself against osteoarthritis and arthritis, the hypotoxic diet allows the recession or the marked improvement of these pathologies, overall from 80 to 94% of cases.
Here you will find the tables with the diseases treated with the hypotoxic diet divided into groups.
HYPOTOXIC DIET: WHICH FOODS ARE ALLOWED
The hypotoxic diet is also called the ancestral diet and is very similar to the paleodieta .
It differs fundamentally from it for the possibility of eating rice, buckwheat, quinoa and all legumes including peanuts, while for the rest it does not have many differences with a paleo autoimmune protocol, on the contrary, it is slightly less restrictive.
You will understand why the hypotoxic diet is called the ancestral diet.Â
- All cereals containing gluten, including oats and obviously including rye, barley, wheat, spelled are banned.
- No to products with lactose and casein (therefore milk derivatives)
- No industrial sugars, but honey can be used.
- Industrial products are not eaten, even baked ones, so you follow a natural diet.
- No to cured meats, sausages and preparations.
The hypotoxic diet instead includes fruit, vegetables (but for those suffering from arthrosis there is a sensitivity towards solanaceae, i.e. tomatoes, potatoes, aubergines, peppers), pseudo-cereals and gluten-free cereals (for example millet or rice), oil seeds , dried and dehydrated fruit, rice, legumes including soy products, lean cuts of mainly red and fodder-raised meats (white ones such as chicken and turkey are prohibited, but also pork: this is because these animals are fed on cereals) , fresh fish and shellfish.
The oil must be used substantially raw, and the cooking of food must be at a maximum temperature of 110 ° / 120 ° to prevent the food from developing toxic substances ( glycotoxins ).
So yes to steam cooking or meat and vegetables stewed or cooked in broth.
The hypotoxic diet stems from the theories of Dr. Seignalet, who claimed to have had positive effects on 91 diseases with this ancestral diet. According to Seignalet, a hematologist, many ailments stem from modern nutrition.
This would cause, thanks also to a certain repetitiveness of the diet (how many times do we eat pasta in a week?) And the massive use of substances that can trigger intolerances in the long run (primarily gluten and lactose), a chronic inflammatory response that it would be the basis of many diseases.
On page two we see an outline of the hypotoxic diet. (
