The 9-day summer diet: 2.5 kilos away!
The 9-day summer diet is a regime to be followed for a minimum of 9 days and a maximum of two weeks in total, ideal for losing about 2-3 kilos in view of the summer and the beach.
Proposed by a team of nutritionists on behalf of BBC Good Food , it is a deflating and light regimen for those who want to exhibit a leaner physique in view of the sea or a holiday, but it is absolutely not restrictive.
Here is the plan.
THE 9 DAY SUMMER DIET. You lose 2 to 3 pounds.
Day 1
Breakfast.
Banana omelette. Mash 100 grams of banana, add 6 chopped almonds and mix in a medium egg and egg white.
Put 100 g of strawberries, cherries or red fruits on one upper half and close with a shovel half a minute before turning off the flame. Coffee or tea with stevia.
Lunch.
Green bean salad with 100 g of green beans to be boiled, a teaspoon of oil and 100 g of diced potatoes or sweet corn. Green beans and potatoes should be weighed raw, corn alternatively boiled. 50 gr of raw ham bresaola and a small walnut peach (70 gr).
Dinner.
200 grams of shrimp or cuttlefish or squid in a pan with 150 grams of pumpkin or 200 grams of zucchini, curry powder, a teaspoon of oil, parsley, salt and pepper. Steam spinach with a teaspoon of oil or butter. 6 almonds or two small apricots.
Snacks.
125 gr low-fat yogurt with stevia and cinnamon + 100 gr of orange or mandarin. Alternatively, a lemon popsicle.
