SUMMER AND DIET BREAKFAST WITH WATERMELON BOWL

Ingredients for a cup.

  • 250 grams of watermelon cut into pieces, seeded and placed in the freezer.
  • 150 grams of white skimmed Greek yogurt, also delactosed or 200 grams of soy yogurt (for the vegan version)
  • a level teaspoon of honey or rice malt (for the vegan version) and a pinch of ground cinnamon. As an alternative to points two and three, you can use zymil Greek yogurt with honey or honey fage (skimmed), but I suggest this separate version to avoid exceeding the calories and have a higher protein content that balances that of fruit sugars.
  • a teaspoon of grated coconut
  • a teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 100 grams of cherries or strawberries in pieces

How to make our summer and diet breakfast.

  • Blend the Greek or soy yogurt with the chilled watermelon in a blender, adding the honey or malt.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl.
  • Cut the chosen fruit into pieces and garnish 2/3 of the bowl.
  • Divide the remaining third garnish it with a teaspoon of chia or flax seeds and a teaspoon of grated coconut.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy immediately.
