Summer and diet breakfast with the watermelon bowl
The watermelon bowl is a very simple and fresh dessert ideal for a dietary and healthy summer breakfast. Not only is it useful to start the day with the right amount of vitamins and minerals, but it is also a way to hydrate to the maximum and promote intestinal regularity. In fact, this watermelon bowl is perfect if we suffer from constipation and want to help our intestines in the morning.

SUMMER AND DIET BREAKFAST WITH WATERMELON BOWL
Ingredients for a cup.
- 250 grams of watermelon cut into pieces, seeded and placed in the freezer.
- 150 grams of white skimmed Greek yogurt, also delactosed or 200 grams of soy yogurt (for the vegan version)
- a level teaspoon of honey or rice malt (for the vegan version) and a pinch of ground cinnamon. As an alternative to points two and three, you can use zymil Greek yogurt with honey or honey fage (skimmed), but I suggest this separate version to avoid exceeding the calories and have a higher protein content that balances that of fruit sugars.
- a teaspoon of grated coconut
- a teaspoon of chia seeds
- 100 grams of cherries or strawberries in pieces
How to make our summer and diet breakfast.
- Blend the Greek or soy yogurt with the chilled watermelon in a blender, adding the honey or malt.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl.
- Cut the chosen fruit into pieces and garnish 2/3 of the bowl.
- Divide the remaining third garnish it with a teaspoon of chia or flax seeds and a teaspoon of grated coconut.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy immediately.
