Sukkar diet to lose 4 kg in 21 days
The Sukkar diet, named after the Italian-Lebanese nutritionist and gastroenterologist Samir Sukkar, director of the dietetics department of the San Martino hospital in Genoa and expert in weight loss treatments, is a very particular diet.
We could define it as a fusion diet , because it combines the best of the Mediterranean diet with the oriental one.
The Sukkar diet menu consists of five small meals a day.
There are five portions of fruit and vegetables to counteract free radicals, two tablespoons of oily dried fruit, up to a maximum of 150 grams of protein per day, limited consumption of carbohydrates including whole grains and potatoes or other tubers (not pasta and bread refined), regular or soy milk every day, antioxidant-rich foods such as cabbage.
A person who wants to lose weight with this method must therefore follow the rules.
– Establish your daily calorie intake by multiplying your weight by the number 30.
– Reduce that number by 10 or maximum 20% to get the right calories for weight loss.
– However, never go below 1200 calories per day.
– Exercise daily or alternatively 10,000 steps a day uphill.
For the food plan, once you understand your daily calorie ceiling, there are recipes to follow in the doctor’s book.
