Over the past few hours, rumors of Oculus Rift founder Palmer Luckey have been making the rounds of the web. Indeed, it seems that Palmer Luckey  is secretly supporting the election campaign of White House candidate Donald Trump. The rumor was released by The Daily Beast and would see the founder of Oculus Rift finance a group, Nimble America , which creates memes to discredit Hilary Clinton in the eyes of American citizens.

Palmer LuckeyAfter the confirmations made by Luckey himself , the protagonist of the story wanted to explain his point of view on the story that portrays him:

“I am very sorry that my actions negatively impacted the perception of Oculus and its partners. Recent news does not accurately represent my point of view. I donated $ 10,000 to Nimble America because I thought the organization had some innovative ideas about communicating with young voters through the use of different posters. I declare myself a libertarian who has publicly supported Ron Paul and Gary Johnson in the past and in fact I will be voting for Gary in this election . C.redo absolutely in fair play and equal treatment, I have not written NimbleRichMan posts and I have not even deleted the account. Reports that I am a founder or employee of Nimble America are false. I have no plans to donate more Nimble America than I have already given. My actions are entirely personal and do not represent Oculus. I’m sorry for the impact my actions are having on the community. “

The fact that one of the most important figures of the well-known virtual reality is linked to controversial characters , among which Milo Yiannopoulos (a great supporter of Trump ) stands out, is causing community, fans and all developers to discuss. What do you think about it? Do you think it was a bad move that Palmer Luckey made ?
