Nutella light: nutella without remorse
The recipe for a light Nutella to really enjoy without too many problems. The result is a spread that has a very satisfying flavor and very few calories.
Forget, for the record’s sake, a Nutella like the original, especially as a creaminess: this Nutella is slightly grainier than the original. But if you want a light version of Nutella, this is one of the lightest on the internet.
You can have breakfast there without feeling guilty!
Nutella light – very easy recipe
For about 450 grams of Nutella.
Calories per 100 gr.:198
Ingrediants.Â
40 gr. of toasted hazelnuts
forty gr. of honey + a pinch of stevia
vanilla, 1 bag or better natural vanilla flavor
1 pinch of whole salt
40 gr. of bitter cocoa
40 gr. of milk chocolate
up to 300 ml of skimmed milk
1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (I use coconut oil)
For this recipe you need a mixer. A blender can also be fine.
Take the hazelnuts and put them in the mixer together with the honey, vanilla and salt. Operate and chop very finely. The more you get a homogeneous mixture, the more optimal the final result will be.
Add the bitter cocoa.
Transfer the mixture into a bowl.
In a saucepan, melt the chocolate in 200 ml of skimmed milk and add a teaspoon of oil. Add the chocolate milk to the hazelnut and cocoa mix, little by little. At this point, you will have already obtained a cream. Taste it and if it seems low in sugar, add the stevia.
Work it well with a wooden spoon and try to add the remaining milk only if it seems too thick. If you add it all together, the risk, as I have seen in some homemade Nutella recipes, is that you will get too liquid. Since hazelnuts do not absorb much liquid, the cream does not tend to thicken after its preparation.
The result can be stored in a dry and cool place, but not in the fridge, in a clean jar. It can be kept for 5 days at room temperature.
