We live in the era of the PC master race : consoles are losing ground more and more but it seems that even here, you don’t mind a bit of healthy competition, here is the device war ! We know all too well that Sony PlayStation 4 sales have been great since the launch of the console. However, what does not go down with the Japanese manufacturers are the sales of their pads, which have always been seen as lower than their Microsoft counterpart . Here are Sony’s plans to balance the fortunes of this market.
Despite the renowned reliability of Microsoft controllers , there are not a few users who would like to play their favorite games on PC in the company of the Sony pad. To meet the needs of the market, the Japanese company has just filed a patent concerning the Bluetooth configuration of the pad. There are two options: either it is (as it would be logical to understand) an external device for connecting the pad to the PC, or it could be an adapter that would allow the use of the PlayStation VR together with the pad on a PC . Masauasu Ito’s words, however, could shed light on the matter:
“We are interested in supporting the use of our hardware also on PC: this will obviously involve PlayStation VR but the hypothesis of the official adaptation of other products is not to be excluded”
