DOCTOR MISSORI’S DETOX SOUP
The soup has about 300 calories: it is therefore a single dish, it is fresh and satiating.
Ingredients for one portion:
– a small Hass avocado (they are produced in Sicily) or 100 gr of ripe avocado
– 250 ml of filtered or low-mineral content water with a low fixed residue
– a medium cucumber, peeled and seeded
– a quarter of an onion (preferably red)
– a level tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
– a few drops of lemon juice
– whole salt to taste and a pinch of chilli pepper
– a spoonful of maple syrup or honey (a teaspoon is fine for me)
– a level spoon of organic apple cider vinegar
– a pinch of berberè (mixture of spices) or alternatively a little coriander or ginger powder
Method : blend all the ingredients in a mixer and serve immediately, accompanied by chopped fennel, chopped cucumber, raw carrot. In a weight loss regimen, the detox soup can replace a plate of pasta or rice, so as to prefer lean proteins and vegetables in the next meal.
