Love can mean… on a diet as a couple!
Going on a diet as a couple: what if this were much more romantic than a ring on Valentine’s Day?
Having one or more allies in weight loss is one of the most successful strategies for losing weight over the years: it is no coincidence that many social experiments (from Diet Social to Facebook groups or forums related to some famous diet such as the Dukan) have been helpful to those who want to lose weight. People need not to feel alone especially when they are on a diet. And this is why your partner has a big responsibility if you decide to embark on a weight loss path
The boyfriends and girlfriends of someone who is on a diet are basically divided into two categories:
–Â the gnawing / defeatist / jealous:Â they break the boxes by saying that there is no need for you to go on a diet or follow a particular fitness path, they do nothing but underline the disadvantages of the thing, from the fact that you have to weigh the food to the fact that you will lose the pizza on Saturday, they are afraid that you are doing it to betray them, they would prefer you with the pounds and some more insecurity.
– supporters / allies: they help you with your diet, support you and… if they have weight to lose or want to change their lifestyle too, they make those changes with you. Your diet turns into a couple diet
If your partner belongs to the second case, losing weight will be much easier.
And, if you become a diet partner , the fact that two of you lose weight and support each other makes the diet enjoyable and sustainable.
Like this couple, Lexi and Danny Reed , one obese and the other seriously overweight, who in two have lost the beauty of 150 kilos, converting to a healthier diet and physical activity and documenting everything on Instagram .
Close to Valentine’s Day it is appropriate to say that love can mean a couple’s diet.Â
