Lose weight at dinner with this super smoothie!
I got this recipe from Dr. Oz’s official website. Invented by nutritionist Liz Vaccariello, this super smoothie to lose weight at dinner is called Crispy Apple Smoothie , and it promises to lose a pound in a week when used in place of traditional dinner, as a meal replacement.
According to Dr. Oz, this particular super smoothie allows us to lose weight at dinner but also during the night, thanks to the combination of ingredients that promotes a more restful sleep, improving the production of serotonin.
And to the satiating, anti-inflammatory and healthy combination of fibers and antioxidants that allows us to have a better regularity in the morning, especially with the contribution of inulin and pectin .
Here is the recipe.
The super smoothie to lose weight at dinner.
A scoop of whey or rice protein or 150/170 grams of skimmed Greek yogurt (see below).
From a cup to half a cup of water
A small red or yellow apple or annurca with peel of 100 grams
1 large clementine.
Half a banana in pieces (50 grams).
A strain of Belgian endive.
A medium carrot (80 g)
Generous sprinkle of cinnamon + ginger or cloves or cardamom powder (a pinch)
A little stevia (optional)
Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until you have a creamy smoothie – you will get two regular glasses of 300 calorie smoothie, corresponding to a balanced diet meal.
To promote weight loss, reduce pasta or rice for lunch or bread to 60 grams, if you prefer it instead, to 70 grams, for a week.
The question is, what if we don’t have protein powders?
We can “remedy” with 150 grams of fat-free Greek yogurt instead of proteins and only half a dose of water.
