Lose one hundred kilos with a healthy diet
The more thanks to my blog, but also to real meetings, I meet discouraged people who want to lose weight and do not know how to do it, the more I appreciate and like to share these stories with you, of people who have done something for themselves, choosing not only to lose weight but to take their life back in hand to achieve greater health. People who started from desperate situations, compared to which your three or four kilos that worry you but for which you are not willing to give up (in everyday life, not forever) to packaged cookies is an infinitely less problem, and who it has to make you understand how wanting is power in the diet, and if you only really want it, those pounds will go away.
The story I chose today is that of Beth Donovan, who lost a ton of weight. You got it right. You have lost a hundred kilos with two things alone, starting from a desperate situation of a body weight of about 195 kilos. Beth she in fact she had a condition of obesity so serious and disabling that she could not even access bariatric surgery, since she lacked some requisites. However, unable to get out of bed, she tried to find an alternative solution. And, incredible but true, she did it . She went online, and she started hanging out and reading news from a diet and wellness site called Sparkpeople.com . And then one says they are useless! :))
– seasonal and organically sourced foods (he says he lost three kilos by changing the type of milk, into organic milk)
– based snacks of fruit, vegetables and nuts , throwing away cookies, chips, snacks and fizzy drinks. She discovered that the more she ate real food, the less she wanted to eat industrial products (and it’s true, I can confirm it)
– by eating more fruit and vegetables (in large quantities) and quality proteins (eggs, meat not from intensive farming, fish) she
thus went from being chronically bedridden to using a wheelchair after the first few pounds lost; she went from the chair to the cane. Then she managed to stand up on her own. It took her ten years, but she amazingly managed to lose over 100 pounds (and she is still losing weight), she leads an active life and contributes by writing on Sparkpeople to encourage others to change their lives.
