Light orange cake: 200 calories per serving

Today I am publishing a recipe for a light cake that is ideal as a snack for children or as a breakfast for adults too.
A light orange cake  that we can further lighten for those who want to use Truvia instead of sugar for the same quantities.
If, on the other hand, we stick to the original recipe, taken from Taniuccia’s blog and her pies , the calories are about 200 per serving.
Not only is it delicious but it is also extra soft.
Here is the recipe.

LIGHT ORANGE CAKE

For 10 people.
Ingredients:
220 grams of flour
110 grams of sugar
120 grams of seed oil (I used Organic Coconut Butter )
90 ml of milk
50 ml of orange juice (the juice of a medium orange)
grated rind of one orange
half a sachet of baking powder
90 gr of egg white (3 egg whites from medium eggs)
a pinch of salt.

Procedure: whip the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt and set aside. In a bowl, combine oil, sugar, milk, juice and orange zest. Add the sifted flour with the baking powder and finally the egg whites to the mixture, incorporating them gently. Pour the mixture into a 22 cm diameter pan, greased or lined with parchment paper.
Bake the light orange cake in a convection oven at 160 ° for 45 minutes (do the toothpick test). Let it cool completely before turning it out.
