Iced chocolate coffee: the summer recipe

This iced chocolate coffee is dietary, easy, quick to prepare and definitely summery .

With its 130 calories it is a perfect drink to start the day, it contains almost 9 grams of protein per serving and gives a nice boost to our metabolism thanks to the combination of cocoa + coffee + spices.

To be paired with a skimmed Greek yogurt with a spoonful of honey for a light and satisfying 280-calorie breakfast or with two rusks and two teaspoons of honey or jam + 2 level spoons of ricotta (same calories).
Here is the recipe for cold chocolate coffee.

COLD CHOCOLATE COFFEE: THE SUMMER RECIPE

  • A cup of long espresso coffee or a teaspoon of Nescafè mixed in a cup of water
  • 200 ml of skim milk or soy milk
  • a tablespoon (8 grams) of unsweetened cocoa
  • a pinch of sea salt
  • a spoonful of Truvia
  • 5 grams of dark chocolate (about a square)
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • 5 ice cubes
  • Natural Zero Chocolate Syrup (optional)In a blender, combine the coffee in the cup with the cocoa powder, salt, truvia, spices, milk and dark chocolate. Run for almost a minute. Add the ice cubes and re-operate for a few seconds, until the mixture is frothy. Pour your cold coffee into a glass in which you will have put a syrup base, and add a little syrup on the froth of the smoothie. Enjoy it now!

The extra idea: if you want an extra creamy shaker instead, try freezing 200 ml of skim milk in the freezer and using it instead of milk in the recipe. In this case, omit the extra ice cubes and the second step.
