Hunger attacks: what do your food cravings reveal?

Junk-food-LI read this news on the Healthy Food House website  and after having an interview via email with an American nutritionist who confirmed the validity of these hypotheses, I thought I would give you this scheme which would reveal how our cravings for particular foods, which often they transform into real hunger attacks to the detriment of the figure but also of our health, in reality they hide the specific needs of the organism, due to deficiencies in micronutrients, or vitamins and mineral salts in the first place .

Put simply: have you ever had a craving for a particular food, for example chocolate? And instead of categorizing it as a whim, an excess of gluttony, have you ever thought that it is instead due to a food shortage? For example, that you are missing a mineral salt?

You will say: let’s say it’s true, and I like chocolate or cheese because I have a deficiency of some kind , so when I’m relaxed I get the craving for a piece of Parmesan or I would eat a whole bar of chocolate milk; but how does the body give us such a specific signal (I want chocolate) for a vitamin or mineral deficiency? What does our body know that inside chocolate there will be that mineral salt, for example

Well, don’t be surprised: the body not only has a memory of what we eat, but it even works with visual and olfactory recalls that allow it to recognize the nutrients from certain foods that are rich in them. For example: some time ago, due to work stress, a move and sudden climatic differences from one city to another, I happened to have a craving for papaya. Fruit that I eat little, depending on availability, and which alas I could not find. I dreamed of it at night. Well, at a certain point I tried to analyze it. Papaya is a powerful anti-stress fruit, but not only: it also has high doses of vitamin C. I started drinking an orange juice with a teaspoon of sugar for breakfast every morning, ending the day with a glass of milk: sugar if used in moderation it is a useful stress reliever to keep at hand,

Do you have particular cravings for food? Do we want to analyze them together? 🙂

IF YOU WANT CHOCOLATE : Try supplementing your diet with magnesium and copper as well. You find it in green leafy vegetables, bitter cocoa, beans, nuts.
IF YOU WANT COOKIES, PASTA AND PIZZA : maybe you lack nitrogen. The solution is to increase it with meat, poultry, oily fish, chia seeds and nuts.
IF YOU WANT STRONG MOZZARELLA, FRIES, OILY AND FRIED FOODS, SEASONED CHEESES, SPARKLING DRINKS: it could be football, baby. Try quality milk and cheese, nuts, green leafy vegetables.
IF YOU WANT PIZZAS, SALTED, OLIVES, SALTED PEANUTS: You may have chloride and silicon deficiencies. Eat unsalted or roasted nuts, oily fish, cheese, or goat’s milk.
IF YOU WANT SWEET CUTS: It could be a deficiency in sulfur, phosphorus, tryptophan and chromium. Eat more fruit and more vegetables in general, chicken, cheese, dried fruit, dehydrated fruit such as prunes or raisins, nuts and hazelnuts, beef, eggs, whole grains, potatoes.
