Hunger attacks and the yo-yo effect? Try face-tapping

What am I talking about? I’m not sure either, but for about ten days the theory has been circulating on British websites that face tapping  can decrease diet stress and the yo-yo effect .

It is an acupressure, that is a massage done with the fingers, on the face, which is tapped.

This is because tapping your face on specific points would decrease stress and anxiety. Consequently, face tapping would allow, by acting on these two factors, to decrease hunger attacks. And the use of what is called comfort food , or junk food and gluttony that we look for when we are particularly down, and that make us fat. For example nutella, ice cream, biscuits, french fries, snacks, fatty foods. All of these foods, by allowing the release of dopamine, have an effect on mood, making us, as the term itself says, feel comforted.

Generally when we are on the ground we tend to want this “comfort food” with the result that we gain weight and we tend to regain the lost pounds if we are on a diet, stopping hunger attacks with food.

But from today, a gimmick to calm the cramps of hunger and the nervousness that makes us eat more is face tapping. Particularly the space between the eyes and nose and the center of the cheeks should be massaged. This little technique would make us go hungry and therefore allow us to lose weight. Or to stay on the line.

Anyone who wants to try it can see these videos . In Italy the method is known as EFT .
