At launch, the virtual reality headset was priced at £ 689 (around € 815) plus shipping, while now the price has risen to a whopping £ 759 (around € 897) plus shipping . The note published on the official website reads:

“HTC continuously monitors and adjusts the price to make sure we provide the best possible value to our customers. Due to recent currency changes and the current GBP value we have adjusted the HTC Vive UK price to £ 759 plus shipping costs. The change will take effect on Monday 1st August. We are committed to providing the best possible experience with Vive and would like to thank our UK customers and partners for their continued support. “
