How to reactivate a suspended WhatsApp account
In this post we address an issue that affects many users who use WhatsApp . Suddenly, while we are having fun sending messages and photos with our favorite application, everything stops. WhatsApp notifies us that our phone number has been suspended from using the service. What happens? How to reactivate our account? Let’s examine in detail the causes of the problem and how to fix it.
Why has WhatsApp suspended my account?
The first step to get to a reactivation of your WhatsApp account is to identify the cause of the problem . There are several reasons why WhatsApp decides to block an account, preventing it from using the app.
1. Probably the most common one concerns third-party applications , that is all those apps unrelated to WhatsApp but which interact with the application itself. Among these, there is WhatsApp Plus, but also all those apps that insert additional smileys or new icons. The point is that WhatsApp does not like other apps to “slip” into its world, and therefore often blocks those who use it.
2. Another reason is sending too many messages to a person who does not have our number saved in their address book. WhatsApp considers it spam and to safeguard the privacy of its users triggers the block.
3. But the cause may be yet another: being blocked by many people in a short period of time. If many block you, it means that you are annoying, and therefore WhatsApp suspends the use of the service for your number.
4. Or you can be “suspended” when you add users who do not have our number in their address book to a group . In this case, the same rule as point 2 applies: first friends, then chat.
For one of these causes, WhatsApp comes into action and manifests itself with a disturbing message that says:
“Your phone number +393 ******** is suspended from the use of WhatsApp. Contact assistance “.
Don’t worry, if you decide to “be good” everything will soon work again.
How to reactivate WhatsApp after it has been suspended?
To reactivate your suspended account you need to understand which of the “rules” has been violated and act accordingly. Delete all third-party applications that interact with WhatsApp and delete groups and chats with non-friends (or have them add your number in the address book).
Once this is done, wait for WhatsApp to re-enable the service on your phone. If this does not happen, the only alternative is to send an email to support@whatsapp.com and explain to the official assistance what the problem is, kindly asking to be rehabilitated (a tip: sending the message in English you will get an answer faster).
How long does it take to reactivate?
The times for reactivating the service vary from a minimum of 48 hours to a maximum of “infinite”. Usually, if the problem is not serious, this happens 48/72 hours after the telephone repair (as explained above). In the worst case, however, your account has been suspended forever due to a violation that was considered excessively serious. In this case, the only option available is to create a new WhatsApp account associated with a new phone number
