Corsair takes us back to the gaming world with the new Glaive RGB PRO . This mouse is very special, designed for FPS and MOBA players, adapting to their style in the most comforting way possible. In fact, the product comes with three interchangeable grips to provide the right grip and the right comfort for every occasion. Furthermore, according to the specifications, we are not dealing with an entry level mouse, but a mid-range gem that will guarantee you 50 million clicks.

Packaging

The box that accompanies the new Glaive RGB PRO in our homes is of standard size, characterized by the iconic yellow and black colors that have made Corsair’s fortune. Inside the box, the mouse is worthily protected by a layer of rigid plastic, as well as the two alternative grips also present in the box. A layer of yellow cardboard divides the durable braided fiber cable from the mouse, which also hides the much appreciated warranty guide and instruction booklet .

Design

Creating a sincere amalgam between elegance and aggression, the Glaive RGB PRO makes comfort its strong point: by recreating the shape of the palm of a medium-sized hand in a complementary way, the player’s feeling is clearly that of having an “extension of the phalanges” just below them, with the plus of the three interchangeable grips that will adapt to the user in the part relating to the thumb (on the left): perfect fit and made to measure. The three handles are magnetic, and therefore also easy to detach and attach. To accompany, in addition to the side buttons, there is also the central wheel that clearly resembles a tire, and the two central buttons just below to adjust the speed. To accompany everything, the LEDs will wrap the lateral lines of the mouse, the iconic Corsair logo on the lower part of the back, and the small lights that will inform us about the speed level currently in use. so as not to “go to trial and error”. In short, this mouse combines high performance with high-level comfort thanks to its contoured shape, which is also ideal for longer gaming sessions.

Performance

The performance of the new Corsair mouse is excellent, blending not only the quality of the product with the actual skills of the player, but adding the already gutted comfort factor, which greatly affects long sessions. The response is ultra-fast, also guaranteed thanks to the  ultra- resistant Omron switches , dressed up just for gaming. Reliability and guarantee, as already mentioned at the beginning, to accompany us with over 50 million clicks. 360-degree control, however, comes by taking advantage of the attached software, which can be downloaded directly from the Corsair website: it is CORSAIR iCUE, a software that connects all the user’s compatible products in a single interface. One of the most classic examples is the remapping of the keys.

Price

Even if it is a really excellent piece in terms of comfort and style and it does its job very well in both software and physical customization, we are faced with a slightly high price for what is offered. To undermine this are certainly the technical specifications, which guarantee high-level performance, but which do not aim for the maximum.
